In 1999 SNC-Lavalin set up offices in Australia forming SNC-Lavalin Australia Pty Ltd and has since undertaken a number of projects locally and internationally via the Australian based business. The Australian business unit has recently undergone a change of leadership and is embarking on a new era of growth and activity with a strong focus on maximising mining and metallurgical opportunities including appurtenant infrastructure within Australia and for Australian based clients operating internationally. SNC-Lavalin operates from offices in Perth, Western Australia and Brisbane, Queensland, and from project offices as required.
SNC-Lavalin in Australia is part of the Australasian region of SNC-Lavalin and also operates from offices in Jakarta, Indonesia and Noumea, New Caledonia. The Australasian region is part of the SNC-Lavalin Group which is Canada’s largest engineering and construction company, and is also a major player internationally in the ownership and management of infrastructure.
