Through applying our local capability with our global expertise where required through our Centres of Excellence in Iron Ore, which are located in Belo Horizonte Brazil and Montreal Canada, we are able to deliver projects with predictable outcomes. Our offices have provided complete lifecycle implementation services for a variety of iron ore projects around the world.
Project teams have carried studies, and basic and detailed engineering for many lump ore and pelletizing plants including materials handling and related infrastructure for these projects. SNC-Lavalin has experience in the mining, handling, beneficiation and pelletizing of all major iron ore types.
From the hematites of South America and West Africa to the magnetites of North America and the diverse iron ore mineralization in Australia, SNC-Lavalin has the expertise to deliver iron ore projects through all phases of development.
